Dr. John Laura Completed His Medical Residency At The University Of California, Irvine, And His Bachelors Of Science From The University Of California, Santa Barbara. Dr. Laura Completed Medical School At The University Of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri.
Born And Raised In Southern California, Dr. Laura Resides In Laguna Beach. In Addition To His Passion For Medicine, Dr. John Laura Enjoys Art & Design, As Well As Surfing, Snowboarding, & Rugby.
Christina Is An Aesthetic Nurse Specialist With Over 20 Years Of Nursing Experience.
Prior To Her Specialty In Aesthetics And Regenerative Medicine, Christina Was An Administrative Nursing Supervisor And Pediatric Trauma Nurse. She Received Numerous Accolades For Her Nursing Expertise As Well As Her Dedication To Her Patients And Their Families.
As An Aesthetic Nurse Injector And Patient Liaison For Dr. John Laura Over The Last 16 Years, Christina Has Become Well-Known For Her Caring And Compassionate Methods.
Christina Prides Herself In Truly Listening To Her Patients And Helping Them Feel Natural And Beautiful. Her Specialties Include Botox®, Dermal Fillers, Sclerotherapy, Regenerative Lasers, Hair Removal, Microneedling, CoolSculpting® And Various Other Regenerative Medical Techniques.
Christina Is Married To Her High-School SweetHeart And Resides In Seal Beach With Her Husband And Two Sons. In Her Free Time, She Loves Spending Time With Her Family, Friends And Vacationing.
The office of Dr. John Laura is proud to introduce Katherine MacBarron, PA-C to our practice. Katherine received her bachelor’s degree in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology at University of California Santa Barbara (like Dr. Laura!) before receiving her Master’s Degree in Clinical Medical Sciences and Physician Assistant Studies at Barry University in Miami, Florida. Katherine has vast clinical experience starting in the field of OB/Gyn, before moving into medical aesthetics, Plastic Surgery and Hormone Replacement Therapy. Her interest in hormones began in 2012 while working in OB/Gyn and she grew her experience with all modalities of hormones including pellets, injections, patches, and creams. She enjoys helping patients look and feel their best from the inside out.
Additionally, Katherine specializes in fat removal and laser skin resurfacing. Her dedication to the specialties of Medical Aesthetics and Hormone Replacement Therapy make her a valuable addition to the provider team.
Mackenzie has been a Registered Nurse for over 2 years. She has spent the last year investing in her Medical Aesthetic education, training under Dr. Laura and Nurse Christina as well as immersing herself in professional training with Allergan and Cartessa, among others. Mackenzie studied nursing at Grand Canyon University in Arizona where she was awarded Dean’s Honor Roll for the entirety of her schooling. She was also part of the Global Nursing Excellence chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International. She currently works in both emergency medicine as well as aesthetics and thrives to expand her knowledge every day! She specializes in neurotoxin, fillers, lasers, body contouring and MORE. If you ask Mackenzie what she loves most about aesthetics, she will say, “One of the most rewarding jobs is helping others feel CONFIDENT and BEAUTIFUL.” When Mackenzie is not working, she loves spending quality time with her loved ones and traveling.
From the front office to the facial room, Jade is so excited to bring a fresh flare to the practice as a medical aesthetician. Specializing in Hydrafacial, peels, and product knowledge, Jade lives to make our patients feel cared for and beautiful. In her downtime, Jade loves to try the best new food spots and baking.
Susanne Brings Over 10 Years Of Aesthetician Experience To The Practice, Which Is Evident In Her Distinguished Strength For Analyzing Skin, Performing Extractions And Developing Customized Treatment Plans Which Are Focused On A Patient’s Long-Term Personal Aesthetic Objectives.
