For Youth and Vitality

This method employs bioidentical hormone pellets, containing either testosterone or estrogen, which are placed subcutaneously in the body. These pellets release a steady flow of hormones, closely mimicking the body’s natural rhythm. As they dissolve, the hormones are absorbed, providing a consistent and personalized dose based on detailed lab work. With over 3 million pellet insertions, this method is well-established, and patients often begin to feel improvements within hours to four weeks, achieving full hormone optimization in up to six months. The benefits tend to be more pronounced after the second insertion, with each dose carefully customized to the individual’s needs by BioTE Certified Providers like Dr. John Laura’s clinic.

The BioTE Method stands out in the realm of bioidentical hormone replacement therapy (BHRT), favored by over 6,400 physicians and countless satisfied patients. The process typically involves as few as two pellet insertions per year, ensuring a continuous availability of hormones as the body needs them.  The hormones in BHRT pellets are identical to human hormones; therefore, they effectively treat a variety of symptoms often overlooked in medical practice, such as exhaustion, stress, foggy thinking, weight gain, sleep disturbances, and more. More on BioTE Pellet Therapy

What is Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Pellet Therapy?

Bioidentical hormone replacement pellet therapy is a method of delivering hormones in a way that mimics the body’s natural hormone production. The therapy involves small pellets, about the size of a grain of rice, containing bioidentical hormones like testosterone or estrogen. These are inserted under the skin, gradually dissolving and releasing hormones into the bloodstream. This method is efficient and tailored to each patient’s needs, with the potential for seeing effects within four weeks of insertion.

What Can a Patient Expect from BHRT?

Each patient’s experience with BHRT is unique, as it depends on individual symptoms and hormonal imbalances. Some may notice relief within a month, but full hormone optimization can take up to six months, with more pronounced benefits typically observed after the second pellet insertion. Our approach is customized to each patient’s specific hormonal needs.

Why Choose the Biote Method?

The Biote Method is supported by an extensive track record, with over 2.5 million hormone pellet insertions and a wide network of certified providers. This method is designed for those experiencing symptoms of hormonal imbalance, offering a potential path to improved well-being and balance. Dr. John Laura’s Clinic utilizes the Biote Method to provide personalized, effective hormone optimization therapy.

What Are the Benefits of Pellet Therapy Over Other Hormone Delivery Methods?

Pellet therapy offers several advantages over other forms of hormone delivery. It ensures a consistent release of hormones, mimicking the body’s natural rhythm more closely than creams, patches, or pills. This method bypasses the liver, reducing the risk of clotting and avoiding hormonal fluctuations. Additionally, the bioidentical hormones used in pellet therapy are derived from natural sources and have the same molecular structure as the body’s own hormones.

Are There Any Side Effects or Risks Associated with BHRT Pellets?

As with any medical treatment, there can be side effects or risks, though they are generally minimal with BHRT pellets. Common side effects include minor bruising or discomfort at the insertion site. It’s important to discuss your medical history and any concerns with your provider to ensure the safest and most effective treatment plan.

How Often Do Pellets Need to Be Inserted?

The frequency of pellet insertions varies based on individual hormonal needs and the body’s response to therapy. Typically, patients may need as few as two insertions per year. Your provider will determine the best schedule for each patient based on ongoing assessments and lab results.
